Palm Beach is the first official single from Emily Skahan Funny Girl EP. Georgette is a new musical project led by Emily Skahan. Her first EP, Funny Girl, is a fresh and cozy blend of electro-moody and sunny tracks - a collection of playful, feel-good music. Produced and co-written by Marky Beats.
The single plays homage to the summer we’ve had; sunny, hot and festive. Those who have tried to stay cool in the city will particularly relate to the tropical yet urban setting. The song is playful and the visuals reflect that in every way possible, thru color and décor. Directed during the hottest days in July by AJ Korkidakis and his amazing team, the location was a dolled-up random lot next to highway, very “shabby chic”.
We were truly excited to have AJ on board with us for this single. AJ’s work is innovative, interdisciplinary, visually sharp and often funny. He is co-creator of the acclaimed live cinema show Kid Koala's Nufonia Must Fall, which has charmed audiences around the globe.
