Paul Daraîche

Paul Daraîche was born in Pabos, near Percé in Gaspésie. Him and his 8 siblings were raised in a music rich environment. In 1956, Paul’s parents moved the entire family to Montreal where they settle in. It is there that Paul made his début. While producing and writing songs for his sister Julie, they eventually decided to merge their talents on stage and create a brother sister duo and will have great success on disk and on stage for many years. The brother / sister recording country duo sold nearly two million copies of their 50 years of career. His life long involvement with many artists Ginette Reno, Richard Desjardins, Isabelle Boulay, Charles Aznavour, Petula Clark, Adamo and many others) his generosity, his artistic qualities and legendary humility make Paul Daraîche one of the great Quebec music artists, the King of Country!
